Causeway is a Bible group designed specially for adults with learning disabilities that started in 1992. The teaching is accessible to all, the worship is interactive, often including the use of Makaton signing, and the friendship is infectious!
The group is currently meeting via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings each month from 6.45 until 7.30pm. Once in-person meetings are permitted again this page will be updated with dates to meet.
In the meantime, contact Tony Phelps-Jones for further details and the Zoom joining codes. He can be contacted on email@example.com or 07974-817134.

At our regular meetings during the year we studied the life of the apostle Paul, learning from his teaching and his example. This equipped us to pass on Bible truth to others as we visited other churches. We led services at Yateley Baptist Church in April and November on the subjects of raising the dead and being set free. We also visited St Barnabas Church for a morning service in May.
In December the group helped to lead the Reading Prospects celebration with a drama about the dreams of Joseph that included a new song written specially for the occasion. We repeated it at the Centre a couple of weeks later. If you were there you will remember it with a smile!
It has been a pleasure to welcome new group member Hazel this year. We’ve also been joined by a member of St Mary’s church on attachment through a Diocesan training programme.
Do come and enjoy an evening with us if you’d like to experience the group in action. 2nd Tuesday evenings of most months, 7-9pm in Oasis.
