Mission

Support

As a very active church, we seek to connect to missional activities across the globe. To ensure that we are focused on God’s plan for us, we have a committee of our PCC who are tasked with overseeing our giving to support our global mission.

At present, our global mission is directed toward supporting the organisations below. Please click the 'website' button for more information about what they do:

Open Doors

Open Doors works in over 60 countries, supplying Bibles, training church leaders, providing practical support and emergency relief, and supporting Christians who suffer for their faith. In the UK and Ireland Open Doors works to raise awareness of global persecution, mobilising prayer, support and action among Christians.

Links International

Confronting poverty, creating potential.

Since 1985 Links International has provided training and resources to partners around the world, bringing strategic, sustainable, solutions. Join us, so that together we can continue to see lives changed and communities transformed!

MAF - Flying for life

At MAF, we believe nothing should stop people from receiving the love of God and the essentials of life – no matter how remote they are. Our vision is to see 'isolated people physically and spiritually transformed in Christ's name.' We believe that everyone deserves a chance to experience the love of Jesus Christ. We use aviation and technology, because in many places those are the only ways to reach isolated people with Christ’s love.

Mothers Union

Mothers' Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide. ... Its main aim is to support monogamous marriage and family life, especially through times of adversity

Prospects - Access to life

Livability is the disability charity that connects people with their communities.

We tackle social isolation and the barriers that can cause this in the lives of disabled and vulnerable people.

Through a wide range of disability, education, training and community services, we promote inclusion and wellbeing for all. Together, we work to see people take part, contribute and be valued. We put the elements in place that all add up to connected lives and communities.

The Gideons International

The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are often recognized for our work with hotels, we also place and distribute Scriptures in strategic locations so they are available to those who want them, as well as to those who may not know they need them.

Columbo Theological Seminary

CTS is called by God to serve the Church by training men and women to be rooted in the Scriptures, filled with the Holy Spirit, mature in Christian character, and competent in ministry, according to the highest academic standards; and by producing quality Christian resources.
