Sam and Emma are on the move

Sam and Emma Dinsmore are on the move.

After two formative years serving in Yateley Parish as Curate,  Sam has accepted the Bishop's invitation to move to the parish of Milford-on-Sea. Sam will serve as Assistant Minister in Milford-on-Sea.

We are very grateful for all that Sam has brought to Yateley, his pastoral presence, his gifts as a preacher and a leader of public worship have all been deeply appreciated.

Please pray for the Dinsmore family as they move to a new home, school and church.

Bishop David writes:

I am grateful to Tim Storey and to St Peters Yateley for providing the initial training context for Sam.

I look forward to being with you on June 23rd, to licence Fran as your new Associate Minister, to conduct a  Confirmation and to add my voice in thanking Sam and Emma and asking God's Blessing for them.

DAVID WILLIAMS

Bishop of Basingstoke

Tim Storey adds:

We have greatly enjoyed having Sam and Emma among us over the past couple of years. I have loved having him here, I have greatly valued his preaching, I have enjoyed his occasionally surreal humour and I have gained a brother. I will miss him greatly.

The opportunity has come for Sam to experience a different context for his training which will offer different opportunities and ways to engage with ministry which will, in turn, offer insights into what God has for him in the future.

Please join me in praying God's abundant blessing upon them in the move, in settling into their new home, their new community and in their new Church.

I am hoping that Sam will be well enough to preach at some services before he leaves us but please book 23rd June at 4pm in your diary as the opportunity to say a fond farewell to Sam and Emma and the family  as they travel south from here.
